Meet the CEO – Mr. Joskey

Behind the creation of Giligate.com is Mr. Joskey, a tourism enthusiast and industry expert with over a decade of experience. Born near the wild jungles close to Ubud’s Monkey Forest, he brings not only extensive knowledge of Bali’s travel scene but also a great sense of humor – funnier than the monkeys themselves (his words, not ours!).

After the tourism downturn during the COVID-19 pandemic, Mr. Joskey turned to farming, but his heart never left the world of travel. In 2023, he launched Giligate.com as a bold step in reviving Bali’s tourism industry, focusing on high-quality travel services for discerning guests who want to explore the Gili Islands in style.

Fluent in five languages – Balinese, Indonesian, English, and (jokingly) both Australian and American English – Mr. Joskey is the charismatic and dedicated force behind Giligate. His mission is simple: to make your island adventure smooth, safe, and unforgettable.
