“Giligate.com” refers to the domain name operated by PT. Igo Jayendra Sentosa, a registered company based in Indonesia. Giligate.com acts as an online booking platform for fast boat tickets and related tourism services available through the website www.giligate.com (“the Site”).
By accessing and/or using the Site to make fast boat or other related service bookings, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, and the Terms of Use (“the Terms”), and you expressly accept all applicable laws and regulations governing the Site and your transactions.
Please note that for hotel bookings, Giligate.com partners with third-party platforms such as Agoda.com and Booking.com. Therefore, their respective Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policies shall apply in full for such bookings.
The term "service providers" refers to the owners or operators of fast boat companies, dive centers, activity operators, or any other third-party services offered through this Site.
Important Information
Giligate.com functions solely as a booking agent for all reservations made via this platform. We have established formal agreements with the service providers listed on our site, which ensure that each provider strives to deliver professional and reliable service to Giligate.com customers.
In the rare event of a service disruption — such as a fast boat cancellation or mechanical issue — the service provider will make reasonable efforts to offer suitable alternatives, such as arranging an equivalent service or transferring the booking to another company at no extra cost to you. Should the service provider be unable to fulfill your booking, PT. Igo Jayendra Sentosa will issue a full refund (excluding any applicable transaction or cancellation processing fees — see our cancellation policy for details).
However, Giligate.com accepts no responsibility or liability for any misrepresentation, breach of contract, negligence, or failure to perform on the part of the service providers. In cases of personal injury, illness, death, dissatisfaction with services, or any other claim arising from third-party services, your legal recourse must be pursued directly with the service provider concerned. Giligate.com is not liable for any losses or damages arising from the actions or omissions of service providers.
It is understood that your travel arrangements booked through Giligate.com do not constitute a package under the meaning of any package travel regulations. Each service booked is treated independently and separately contracted with each respective provider.
By continuing with a booking on this Site, you agree that you are entering into a direct contractual relationship with the respective service provider(s), and any issues or complaints should be addressed to them. For support or assistance, you may also contact us at info@giligate.com.
Please be aware that Giligate.com may not have conducted detailed quality checks on the services listed and does not offer guarantees regarding the fitness or suitability of the services for your specific needs. The listing of services or operators on our site does not imply an endorsement or recommendation by Giligate.com.
We do not warrant the accuracy of information regarding services provided by third parties and disclaim liability for any inaccuracies that may appear on our site.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit or exclude the liability of Giligate.com in cases of fraudulent misrepresentation or death or personal injury resulting from our own proven negligence.
If you or any person on whose behalf you are booking violate any part of these Terms or applicable laws, Giligate.com reserves the right to cancel your booking without refund or compensation and to pursue recovery of any resulting costs or damages.
1. Booking and Payment
All bookings must be made online through Giligate.com.
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your ticket.
We accept payment via major credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, American Express), PayPal, and selected local payment methods.
Prices are quoted in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) unless otherwise stated.
Applicable taxes and service fees (5% service fee + 11% VAT) will be added to the ticket price.
2. Confirmation and E-Tickets
Upon successful booking and payment, you will receive an immediate email confirmation with your e-ticket attached.
Please check your spam or junk mail folder if you do not receive the confirmation within 10 minutes.
E-tickets must be presented at check-in, either printed or on a mobile device.
3. Changes and Cancellations
Changes to booking dates are allowed up to 72 hours before departure via the “My Reservation” page, subject to availability.
Cancellations made more than 14 days before departure will receive a full refund minus a 10% cancellation fee.
Cancellations made between 72 hours and 14 days before departure will receive a 50% refund minus a 10% cancellation fee.
Cancellations made less than 72 hours before departure, or no-shows, will not receive a refund.
To request changes or cancellations, please contact us via the “My Reservation” page or email our support team.
4. Schedule Changes, Delays & Cancellations by the Operator
Fast boat operators reserve the right to cancel or delay trips due to weather, technical issues, safety concerns, or instructions from the harbor master or government authorities.
In the event of cancellation initiated by the boat operator, they will make reasonable efforts to rebook passengers on the next available service or provide a full refund.
Giligate.com and its partners are not responsible for additional expenses caused by delays or cancellations, including missed flights or accommodation.
5. Port Fees and Other Charges
Port fees are not always included in the ticket price and must be paid in cash at the port during check-in.
Please refer to our FAQ or contact us for the latest port fee information.
6. Check-in and Boarding
Check-in locations and times will be provided with your booking confirmation.
Please arrive at least 60 minutes prior to departure time.
Present your e-ticket and a valid ID at check-in.
Our staff will assist you until you board your boat.
7. Luggage and Passenger Safety
Each passenger is allowed a maximum of 2 pieces of luggage, not exceeding 25kg in total.
Operators reserve the right to inspect luggage and may refuse items that are unsafe.
Travel is not recommended for passengers who are pregnant, have heart conditions, or serious back issues.
Giligate.com is not responsible for damage or loss of luggage during transit.
8. Liability Disclaimer
Giligate.com acts only as an intermediary. We are not liable for accidents, delays, losses, or injuries caused by the service providers.
Passengers must follow safety instructions issued by boat crews and service operators.
Travel is undertaken at your own risk.
9. Privacy & Data Protection
We value your privacy and protect your personal data in accordance with Indonesian law and our Privacy Policy.
Your booking information may be shared with service providers for operational purposes.
10. Website Use & Anti-Fraud Policy
You agree not to misuse the website or engage in fraudulent activity.
We reserve the right to cancel bookings if fraudulent behavior is suspected.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia.
Disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of Indonesia.
12. No Chargebacks
Customers who have purchased tickets via Giligate.com and have received services (fastboat, activity and/or private shuttle) from the respective service provider cannot charge back for any reason.
